Our school operates on two guiding foundations:

Cedar House Charter
The Cedar House Charter comprises two sections: the first part describes the values-based nature of the School; and the second part describes the behaviours that we would expect from our parents, our students, our teachers and our management, based on those statements.

The Cedar House Ethos
Cedar House offers a holistic education. We develop the spiritual, social, emotional, intellectual and physical potential of our students by developing life skills and fostering growth of the individual and the community through the academic, extramural and reflective life of the wide School curriculum. At Cedar House the unique richness of every member of the School community is valued and respected, irrespective of class, gender, race or religion. We allow differences to be recognized within a spirit of focus, tolerance and acceptance, without compromising the integrity of the School.
